A wild clone from a collection sent to me from florida. This strain consistantly produces 3/4 to 1 inch thick straight antlers (up to 14 inches in length), with less of a propensity for branching. We love enjoying the bright lemon yellows appear on the young primordia. This is a fair yielding strain and would be a reasonable choice for bulk production considering G. curtisii's close genetic relationship to the famed medicinal Ganoderma lingzhi. This species expresses similar levels of bitter compounds like their asian relatives and are our preference when it comes to consuming North American Ganoderma.
